چکیده
Saturated soil shear strength is a primary factor that reflects the driving resistance of agricultural machinery in paddy soils. The determination indicators, such as cohesion and internal frictional angle, crucial to improve walking efficiency However, measurement these indicators often costly time-consuming. Soil moisture content, density, clay content are factors affect friction while very limited studies have been performed assess interactive effects three on characteristics, especially In this study, eight samples were taken from fields Southeastern China, central composition rotatable design was used classify into five levels based different (X1), (X2), density (X3). direct tests carried out indoors remolded using self-made characteristic measuring device. Then, both individual X1, X2, X3 angles soils systematically investigated analyzed regression analysis method data processing software Design-Expert. Our results indicated environmental order X1 > X2 X3, for impact angle. X1X2 X1X3 X2X3 Two prediction models successfully established quantify angle affected by physical properties, coefficient (R2) 0.91 0.89 two equations, respectively. model validations new suggested capable predicting parameters under effectively, with errors between predicted measured within 15% relative root mean square error less than 11%.

Shear Strength of Soil
One of the most important and the most controversial engineering properties of soil is its shear strength or ability to resist sliding along internal surfaces within a mass. The stability of a cut, the slope of an earth dam, the foundations of structures, the natural slopes of hillsides and other structures built on soil depend upon the shearing resistance offered by the soil along the probable...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Spatial Variability Analysis of Soil Physical Properties of Alluvial Soils
ited on sandy or on loamy sediments. Therefore, it is important to study not only the extent of surface spatial Analysis and interpretation of spatial variability of soils is a keyvariability, but also the distribution of subsurface and stone in site-specific farming. Soil survey maps may have up to 0.41ha inclusions of dissimilar soils within a mapping unit. The objectives deep soil horizons. ...
متن کاملNumerical investigation on the pullout shear strength of soil-nail interface using finite element method
Soil nailing is a popular reinforcement method for stabilizing slopes, excavations, and retaining walls in many countries. The pullout capacity of the soil-nail interface is a critical parameter for the design and safety assessment of soil-nailed systems. In this paper, a three-dimensional (3D) finite element (FE) model is developed using the commercial program ABAQUS to simulate the pullout te...
متن کاملIn Situ Measurement of Some Soil Properties in Paddy Soil Using Visible and Near-Infrared Spectroscopy
In situ measurements with visible and near-infrared spectroscopy (vis-NIR) provide an efficient way for acquiring soil information of paddy soils in the short time gap between the harvest and following rotation. The aim of this study was to evaluate its feasibility to predict a series of soil properties including organic matter (OM), organic carbon (OC), total nitrogen (TN), available nitrogen ...
